In Ayurvedic medicine, a course of treatment traditionally lasts 40 days, this is why ideally there are 80 capsules in a box. The general dosage is 2 capsules per day — this means taking 800 mgr of active substance per day. There is no maximum amount of Ayurvedic herbs that can be taken — natural substances cannot be overdosed.
It is possible to take several capsules in parallel, but no more than 3 should be used at the same time.
There is no need to take breaks between courses, if your body needs it, you can safely go through several courses in a row, but after 6 months, do take a break.
More information about the dosage for children can be read here.
