How to prepare for winter, Ayurvedic methods in a nutshell Part II


As soon as the cold comes, not only the common cold and the flu pose a threat to our health. International research results show that cardiovascular problems are more common in the winter months.

Although this is not directly dependent on the weather, the blood vessels contract and blood pressure may rise. One of the main risk factors for cardiovascular diseases is the high cholesterol level. Almost every second person in Hungary has high cholesterol level.

Folk medicine recommends hawthorn, garlic and/or simply the Mediterranean type nutrition and, of course, regular exercising is essential, even if you walk only ten minutes a day, it helps a lot. Two bananas with honey every day is perhaps one of the most effective cardiac cures, but if you are more serious about the health of your heart, it is worth getting to know Arjuna.
