Boswellia Serrata (or Indian Frankincense) is a kind of incense. The trunk of the tree produces this resinous substance called Shallaki in the Sanskrit language. This resin is cleaned, dried, and the powdered substance is placed in the capsules.
It has been used since ancient times due to its versatile medicinal properties in Ayurvedic medicine. The Boswellia plant contains a lot of resins, which are very good for the treatment of cracked cartilage, helping to rebuild cartilage and relieving cartilage wear.
Its active ingredient is boswellic acid as an active component, which greatly promotes the incorporation of calcium into the body.
Boswellic acid reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting the function of the enzymes that cause inflammation in the joints. It has such a rare anti-inflammatory effect as a non-steroidal agent.
