What is Gokshura?

Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) is a small leafy shrub. The small, spiny fruit has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years as a cooling, nourishing and rejuvenating tonic. This prickly fruit looks like a cow’s hoof, hence the name ‘gokshura = cow hoof‘. Gokshura capsules are a dried ground extract of the Tribulus terrestris fruit.
